    TF300 and my smartphone

I have had my TF300 for a little over a month. It is the first tablet I have owned (other than my Barnes and Noble NookColor which isn't a true tablet.) I am enjoying my TF300 and have added a number of apps. I am still not sure if it would replace my PC though. This week I got my first smartphone--Samsung GalaxySiii. I've always had a "simple" phone before. Anyway, I am still figuring out the phone and every thing it will do. However, one thing I noticed is that somehow all the apps I have on my TF300 have some how magically appeared on my phone. I guess the TF 300 and the Siii have"synched"?? I am not sure how this occurred but (and this is my question) if I delete the apps off the Siii are they going to automatically delete from the TF300, too? I want to keep all the apps I put on my TF300 but some of them I just don't want/need on the phone. I have done horrible things to my PC in the past by deleting so I am cautious. Is there a way to keep apps I put on my TF300 from showing up on my phone? I have not put any apps directly to the phone yet so I don't know if my TF300 will magically get them, too, but I would rather that it didn't.

When you set up an android device it asks if you want it to restore the device from your Google account. What happened is you probably missed unchecking that box it installed all your apps. You should be fine to remove them from the phone. It shouldn't delete them off the tablet.

Welcome to the "magical" world of Android

I just got my TF300 last weekend, and after setting it up, I was shocked that it automatically set my background to match my Galaxy Nexus running 4.1.1 Jelly Bean (which still has the stock background). Android and the Google ecosystem never cease to amaze!
