Im not sure if the app has any use but....i find it disturbing to have it there..

It is included as a part of MyCloud.

It is useful to remote to a PC.

Yeah, the word remote can be daunting as well for a lot of people. Install splashtop streamer from the splashtop website on your windows computer and you can log into it on the tablet and see and use the windows computer like you were sitting in front of it.

This app is actually ok, not as bad-ass as advertised, but it works flawless. Actually, it's not the last coke of the summer, there are so many RDP/VNC clients out there for Android... some are simple but effective, others try so hard do God only knows what and fail.

TeamViewer works nice on Android too, and you can easily access other's computers, not only yours (Mac or Windows), and it's very simple.

Depending on your need, there's one for you. For free, if I remember right, Slapshot Remote is paid (but you got it for free, so...).

Just a heads up, my TF300T did not come with that App, I paid for it, tested and asked for a refund.

I haven't used it on my TF300 yet, but I do have it on my Bionic, and it works great! I bet it's even better on this!
