I had a screen related problem
My tf300 is just fine, thanks
I seem to be reading far too many posts about early days - within the first 30 days of ownership - hardware or build quality issues on the tf300 and/or its dock.
Just to see, lets run a little poll...
You can select all appropriate choices, ie you may tick more than one box
I included a software selection too & a choice so those who are just fine can also join in![]()

Just got mine back from ASUS service - they had it for less than 2 weeks. Problem was the touchscreen would either go dead or go nuts, factory resets didn't help. THey apparently replaced a pcb thermal sponge pad, the sd card sponge, the cover sponge, some tape, and something to do with the touchpad - kind of looks like they basically cleaned up the connections. It is working fine so far, but I only have one day of testing now
mine is fine..
IPad 4 32 gig iOS 6.1.3
just got my dock and touchpad doesnt work usb port doesnt either..
Can you add an option "i dont have a tf300 but want to see the results"
click the view poll results button...

I bought the TF300 in September 2012 and waited on purchasing the dock. I purchased the keyboard dock on December 26, 2012 but wasn't sure if I needed it so I didn't open until January 2013 when I decided I would keep it. I've had a screen protector and cover case for my tablet from day 1 and have treated this tablet like glass. It has never been dropped, sat on and I have no children. I took the tablet out of the case and attached it to the dock. I opened the tablet attached to the dock and everything looked fine until I released the tablet from the dock. I now have 2 cracks on my screen radiating up from where it was attached to the dock. I immediately called Best Buy and they would take back the dock but wouldn't help me with the tablet screen. I then contacted Asus but their system was updating and I was told to call back tomorrow. I called back today and their system is still updating and I can't send in the tablet until their system is up again and they expect me to pay for the repair. I literally did nothing to cause the screen to crack. The Asus keyboard dock cracks my tablet screen and I'm supposedly responsible. I will think twice about purchasing anything from Asus or Best Buy again. Not a happy customer.
