tf300t with keyboard

Hello, I have the tf300t with keyboard. When I turn it off I still have a red light on the tablet. If I disconnect the tablet from keyboard it goes off. Is there away to shut off the keyboard so it doesn't drain the battery?

3. A quick search here or a read of the manual will get your answer for you, but to put your mind at rest, the keyboard dock will NEVER drain your tablet's battery. There is more to this, but I'll leave it to you to do some background reading first.

Hi Maxxx following on from Janners useful recommendations:
It's great that you've included your tablet model (TF300T), may I suggest you also include your location (country will do). Like you, I have the tablet plus K/B. A lot of the time I use the tablet detached from the K/B - depends on what you are using the TF for. Perhaps you know that you can recharge the tablet & K/B separately or attached together. Charging or discharging, the Asus tablet/ K/B will not overcharge or discharge completely.

Actually, the dock does result in battery drain for the tablet, since when together they both drain to about nothing when in sleep mode for about twelve hours. On their own though, the tablet burns about 2% and the dock about 1%.

Together they are awful for sleep mode and a bad as my Q2670 14" laptop.
