Found A Use For Rear-Facing Camera.

Until this morning I didn't see much use for a GPS or rear-facing camera on a 10.1" tablet. This morning my wife and I were having coffee on our back deck and I noticed a young coyote watching us. I happened to be reading on my TF300 so I was able to take this photo:

I completely agree... I would almost never use the rear camera but once in a while an opportunity will present itself and, with the tablet already in hand, it won't be a missed opportunity.

Chase Jarvis has a book similar to this idea: The Best Camera Is The One That's With You: iPhone Photography

The whole book is photos taken with his iPhone. It is great if you have a DSLR to take awesome shots, but what good does it do you if you only have a camera phone (or in this case tablet) on your person?

I really like the panoramic mode. When I had a painting show in Des Moines, I could basically take the whole show in one shot!

As already said, the camera you use most, is the camera you have at-hand.

    Cool photo.

What's interesting is some of us never or rarely use the camera. While others just click away.

Just had a slight accident today. Snapped away evidence photos with my prime. Can't wait to see what kinds of excuses those "people" will come up with to milk me for money.

Yes, but don't you feel a little bit silly, holding up a 10" thing?

I know the few times I tried to use it as a camera, I felt quite silly-- and none of the shots would focus, either. Oh well.

I hope your accident was not severe!

Actually I have always been a little miffed that the camera you set 2 feet from has a much higher resolution that the camera you might want to use for something 100 feet away.
