    Brightness

Hi, I have been lurking around the forums for a few days trying to decide between the prime and 300. After much deliberation on whether I really need gorilla glass or a camera flash etc, I have come to the conclusion that the only thing that I might need that the prime has and the 300 doesn't is the extra brightness.

One of the main places I shall be using the tablet is on the bus to and from work, which isn't exactly outside but is obviously brighter than indoors. Can anyone offer me some advice on whether the 300 is usable in that sort of lighting condition or whether I really do need the extra brightness of the prime?

I'd prefer the 300 due to price and a couple of other smaller concerns, but the biggest issue is whether I will be able to use it on the hour long journeys to and from work when the sun is shining (the few days a year we get sun over here in "sunny" old England lol).

    Thanks

the 300 brightness outside is ok but the prime is really good and has to be seen to be really appreciated . If that's your really main concerned then either one will suit you fine

I have no reference with the Prime because I've never used it by I use my TF300 outside in the sunlight and the screen is very visible. The glare/reflection is more of an issue than the brightness for me.

I've read many people commenting on issues of brightness with the TF300 and seen various reviews doing the technical comparisons and such between it, the Prime, and newer ipads. As far as real world application is concerned, I find it does the job quite nicely and have no complaints.
