Nero?... my lg hsb 700 headphones does not have a way to do a forget on it. I've even looked for a pin hole reset button and googled how to do a factory reset on these headphones. No options... thanks though!

Sorry, couldn't do any lifting at all--had back problems. And yes, I meant headphones--some newer BT peripherals have their own settings, including "forgetting".

In Roman Latin, if you write Nero's name, and read it as (of course) a Roman NUMERAL, it's 666. To add to the confusion, their word for "name" is the same as for "number". So some scholars believe that what John wrote was "the name of the beast is Nero". Which, given the political situation at that time, makes a lot more sense. Something like Trump-bashing, or perhaps Putin-bashing.

    [OT] 666 and other numbers

Well, only via numerolgy.. then you can end up with 666 via various routes. But with numerology one can find just about anything, by defining what the target is, first. Then figure out a way to arrive there.. one way (but not the only way) is to write NERO CEASAR in Hebrew, which (as semitic languages do) leaves out a lot of vowels: NRON QSR. Hebrew also gives each letter a numeric value, in this case 50 200 6 50 100 60 200 (see Wikipedia), and the sum of that is 666. Argh, numerology..
In any case, the original manuscripts probably used 616, not 666.
666 has a much more real and relevant reference: It was the original price, in dollars, of the Apple 1 computer. (Actually 666 dollars and 66 cents, because Woz liked repeating digits)

I am ELATED! I downgraded to katkiss version 12 and now my Bluetooth headphones are Discovered! I actually like this version better than ver. 29. It seems quicker and doesn't have the "window panels". But I certainly WILL NOT EVER do a forget on a BT device again.. just in case.. thanks for all who tried to help!

Sindee, that's great! Enjoy! But not too much, mind you...

Tor, what I meant was, that I'd read somewhere (sorry I've no reference), that biblical scholars looking at the earliest versions available, found just those words and concluded that was what John meant (I think it was John, wasn't it? I'm no biblical scholar). AFAIK no church supports this interpretation.
