Lightbulb Trying to resurrect my soft bricked TF300 - help please

    Hey Janner,

I came across your post called the Master Help Guide to try and factory reset my new tablet I received. The issue is I believe this device to be soft bricked and I can't seem to factory reset it based off of the steps you have listed. If I go to wipe data, a new set of options appear and they are CMW-Based Recovery v6.0.4.7, which I believe is clock work mod. I know I might be asking a lot but could you help me with this as I want to get this tablet working again. Sorry for the inconvenience this might cause you.

    Welcome to the forum

Thanks for your polite and friendly post. It is appreciated. As you are asking about a non-stock recovery situation I have moved your post into its own thread for you in the best place for it. One (or more) of our technical gurus will drop in in due course and get you going in the correct direction.

While you are waiting, you will get a great deal of useful and orientating information from the first three sticky threads in this section. Take your time and try to read them and understand them prior to doing anything else as an incorrect step at this point could leave your device irreparable.

    All the best

PLEASE Search for existing threads before posting a new one. Thanks.

Your opinion matters. But should you disagree - please try not to be disagreeable

    Welcome to the forum @ericmasi
It's actually very good news that you have CWM installed. It gives you a lot more options than the stock recovery.
Before we get started tell me a little more about your tablet:
What's your bootloader version? Read the tiny script top left when you are on the page with RCK, Android, Wipe Data. It starts with WW or US
Which ROM did you have installed?
Describe in as much detail as you can what led to the softbrick and how the tablet is behaving now.

And do not try the factory reset again please. With a custom recovery installed doing the stock factory reset can have dire consequences...
