Hi back Ellie, the main thing you'll notice is that the nag screen will go away. Isn't it amazing that this old tab can be this up-to-date and run this well?

Okay, db and Kevin! You guys have spoiled me; questions first, action later. Thanks for the go ahead; the TF201 now has an updated SU binary, and she's still running like a charm. You're so right, Kevin - I love my little TF201 (that thinks it's a TF300). It's my personal daily driver, still!

Q: Since it's now got updated SU binary, I decided to factory reset from TWRP..it's been about 6 months since I last did that and the tab could probably use the boost. But i cannot find my notes (don't do this stuff often enough to remember it all). All I remember is that data partition doesn't get wiped.. (?). How do I?

Data does not get FORMATTED. Most of it does get wiped. Theoretically you will not lose any personal files, documents, pics and the like. But be sure you back up anything you do not want to lose first. Of course you should do that anyway. Then boot into TWRP (volume-down and power, remember?), shoot a backup just in case, then hit the Wipe button. The directions say "Swipe to Factory Reset"--I'll let you take it from there!

    Hi
So I followed the instructions on here and I'm stuck in the bootloader now. I had cyanogenmod working perfectly untill I installed a theme. Twrp doesn't boot no matter how many times I reflash it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated . I use my tablet almost daily and now I'm stuck without one... thanks!

What, exactly, does the tablet do when you try to boot it? You say you are stuck in the bootloader, does that mean you see the three icons, and can read the bootloader version? If so please report that.

Hey guys, this guide was great, managed to get my TF300T rooted and flashed to latest version of KATKISS 6.0.x.x.

I find this ROM to be kind of slow to be honest. the GUI, alt-tabbing, keyboard and menu response times, all kind of sluggish...

I don't need a lot of frills, I just want the fastest most responsive ROM possible... Any suggestions which ROM will do this for my TF300?

Did you format data before flashing the rom? I mean: format, not wipe. And then convert data to f2fs?
This rom, properly installed, is for most users the fastest and smoothest out there....

No... I don't think I did... Guess I should boot back into TWRP and got he format route, then flash the ROM again...

With that said, after a few reboots and usage with the katkiss 6.0, it's gotten much better... maybe it was just doing a lot of initial setup for the first day....

If you have not finished your setup yet do it now. The longer you wait, the more hassle it'll be.
