Does the magnet in the case impact the tablet!?!?!?!? to the screeeeen???

Hello, guys, I am seeking help here.
I bought a case with 4 magnets in the corners to close the case better,
does the magnet impact the tablet's hardware like the screen or some parts insider???

Does anyone feel it slows down the screen touch???

    Thank you~~~

I'm pretty certain those magnets won't affect the screen or any of the other components. They would not be strong enough or close enough to anything that would make a difference. The screen operation is not magnetically sensitive.

I've had a magnet based cover on my iPod touch for close to 2.5 years now and can tell from personal experiece that it has never impacted the functioning of the device in anyway....screen or otherwise. I'd say they're perfectly safe for using on your device.

Magnets affect non-shielded mechanical hard drives, TV tubes and VHS tapes. When it comes to IPS screens, flash memory and capacitive input screens, magnets should have no effect on them.

Got a photo of this case in question? I am after a case that will cover my TF300T screen, and I want the magnets. I read that the official Asus one (here: ASUS - Peripherals & Accessories- ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 TranSleeve) does not have magnets.

The magnets will affect any apps that rely on the internal magnetometers. So if you're steering by compass, remove the tablet from the case. ;-)

Are you 100% sure about that? I've read elsewhere that the magnets won't effect the tablet at all.

Well, I don't see how any magnet could not have an effect, but just to be sure I ran a compass app and slipped the tablet into the Caseen. Sure enough, the needle went crazy.
