    [GUIDE]Windows 10 clean install on T200

    Hi,

Has anyone successfully managed to do a clean install of windows 10 (not upgrade from win 8 ), then downloaded windows 10 drivers from asus for T200TA and made everything run flawlessly? Anybody can confirm that this is even possible?

    1. Used a Rufus 2.4 usb tool, to install FAT32 and GPT partition and windows 10 on usb,
    2. turned off secure boot in bios
    3. press ESC to enter bios and manually pressed to boot from USB stick on the save page
    4. Installed SOC driver for windows 10 32 bit, then ATK drivers.
    5. For LAN to make it work I had to update driver first to windows 10 latest in system device manager, then extract 32 bit driver I downloaded from the Asus and manually with have disk option reverse new windows 10 driver to older driver from Asus site and then Ethernet card started to work.
    6. I didnt play with WIFI or audio drivers. They work after installation,

less the better this system is unreliable as a Russian prototype anyway.

    Hi,
I wondering how you "boot from USB stick" ?
I have ASUS T200 with Win 8.1 upgraded on Win 10. from the beggining I have problem with touchpad ( not working, than flickering, than working wery bad and slow). I try with new driver , smart gesture, ATK package....nothing...try with driver for Win8.1, nothing. On the end I contact Microsoft support and I get info that I should before upgrade on Win 10 remove antivirus program because antivirus program can cause problem and bla-bla. ... Okay, I downloaded program to make bootable USB with new version of windows.....BUT....when enter in BIOS I can't see any option to boot from USB or any flash memory. Only what I have is Windows boot manager.
So, I would be appreciate if you help me, because I saw that in first questions you have the same problem.

I solved problem with "boot from USB".
Of course, I couldn't see USB in BIOS, but I found one thread and use it:
    1. switch off transformer book
    2. insert USB stick into USB port
    3. start transformer book and quickly press F2.
    4. in BIOS - boot - option, boot from USB, now appear under line Windows boot manager.
    5. changed boot order and save and exit.
    ...............
Of course, after clean installation some problems appear, like touch screen was not working, but with downloading driver from ASUS website, problem has been solved.
Still I have problem with touchpad which is not working properly, but I hope I will find way how to solve it.
    .....
    Vincenzo.

    Hi!
My T200 has an internal HDD in keyboard dock and I want to booting from that HDD instead of USB.

I have created GPT booting at that HDD but BIOS hasn't recognized it, there is only one Windows boot manager in BIOS boot options list.
I also updated BIOS to latest version.

    Please help!
