T100TA No Audio after Windows 10 Build 1709 update

    Hey guys,

I'm new here. I've been using my T100TA for a few years now and no problems. But the 1709 Windows 10 update broke my audio. The device manager is mostly clean except for one, Intel(R) Atom(TM)/Celeron(R)/Pentium(R) Processor Low Power Engine Audio - Host Bridge - 0F28 is not working with the following error message:

"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

Has anyone encountered the issue before? I'd hate to do a clean install. Also, stupid me decided to delete the windows.old directory before checking if everything is OK, so I can't do a rollback

Try this go to ASUS download site and grab the SOC drivers for 8.1 and install that may solve your problem.
The other package to try is the I think ATK for 8.1

Hi masterpipo, allow us to apologize for the inconvenience caused. Have you tried using the Windows 8.1 SOC drivers as yet?

Same problem. Updated ATK drivers to 8.1 and 10 and none of the two worked. Also updated BIOS but audio problem persists.

I've also noticed that the laptop doesn't boot Windows when I use "Reboot", but if I switch off and then boot the laptop Windows initializes correctly.

I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

    Update (19/06/2018):

After reintalling Windows 10 again and installing SOC Driver Package for Windows 8.1 32 Bits all the problems were solved.
