Exclamation T100TAF is dead, only blinks white 5 times

    Hello,
I have had a T100TAF-B14-GR (windows 10) for less than 4 months. Don't use it very much. It has worked perfectly, only a couple of times I had a hard time to turn it on after charging it.
A couple of days ago it seems to have ran out of battery and it never came back again.
When I press the power button for 3 seconds the white LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens, the display is dead.
If I connect the charger it charges until the LED turns white, but nothing else.
If I hold the power button for ~15 seconds the white LED turns off for 1-2sec and then comes back white (because of the charger connected).
I've read that opening the back cover and removing the battery can fix it, but I don't want to loose the warranty.
    Any suggestion?
I bought it in Best Buy in December, how would I have to return it to get it repaired?
    Thanks,
    Max

    Welcome to the forum

You are correct - you need a warranty repair. You should contact Asus directly unless you think Best Buy will swap it out for you...
