Comments after upgrading from T100TA to T100HA

I received the T100HA yesterday and have been testing it. I have been a satisfied user of the T100TA
it is overall thinner than the TA, and weight slightly less. The finishing of the tablet part is much better than TA as the gap between the screen and the case is smaller. There is also 4GB Ram, on board, allowing the device to run 64 bit Windows 10.

However, I think the design is not as elegant as T100TA. There is no concentric circle pattern (icon of ASUS) on the back of the table part. And there is not metallic finish on the keyboard. One big takeaway is the speaker. The sounds are louder than TA but the quality is worse. It lacks the SonicMaster like on ever other Transformer Book.

I upgrade mainly because of the RAM, and slightly because of the CPU.
Now, I have fewer free space on this new laptop than my previous one, and the sound is so bad when I play music.
So, does anyone think it is a good upgrade or should I go back to my T100TA and wait couple more months for the new 4GB ram machine???

    My personal feeling is this.
    1) The T100 is an excellent value device, no doubt about it.
    2) No matter what the hardware, it is still a portable "second string" device
    3) The HA gets both praise and criticism here in equal amounts - and it would appear that the HA has some issues that are restricted to it over the other models in the T100 family
    4) That said, the 4gb RAM is a good thing, but is it enough?

So, all in all, my take would be that the HA is insufficient to warrant the change. If you really want to upgrade, I would be considering a MS Surface - but at the end of the day, you'll have to decide yourself - no-one but you can make such a personal and subjective choice.

    All the best

Hi Janner, yeah, 4gb ram is the only good point I realized in this laptop. I was not impressed by HA at all while it was released. But, my memory usage on the TA, always hit 90% or above with my daily use (not heavy), I think of upgrading to a budget laptop with higher RAM. HA is my choice because of the functions as well as the cheap price, USD $ 294. There is no device, in this price offer close spec.
However, to be down to earth, this is not a upgrade-worthy device as you said, many people claim that it is a step backward, and I have to agree.
This is a 4GB RAM machine, tho, it lags many times as I type this comment!!!

In your opinion, it is not worth upgrading to the T100HA?

    As I said, I don't think I would upgrade from a T100TA to a T100HA, no.

If I can sell my T100TA, for a T100HA, the money I need to pay for this upgrade is less than $50, do you think it is a deal, or still no?

The Chuwi looks alike to the T100HA., even with Dual OS!! I'm curious if better audio?
