That is actually a great idea. I'm going to have to hold off until the end of the month, as I use my T100 for work. How do you repartition the SSD? If there's a tutorial I'd love to see it. I've got the 32 GB version, so SSD space is a premium. I keep all my personal files on a 64 GB SD card, and now that I've done the reset once and had to reload the drivers, doing it again wouldn't be a bad idea for more space.

I had the same issue -- sound stopped working around the 10/7/2015 Win10 update. I was able to get the sound working on my Win10 T100TA by doing the following:
1. Download the most recent Win8.1 Chipset drivers from Asus:
ASUS Transformer Book T100TA | 2-in-1 PCs | ASUS USA > (Win8.1 32 bit) > Chipset > SOC Driver Package (2014/01/03)
2. Install the above SOC drivers and Reboot if prompted.
(Sound started working here.)
3. Run Windows Update. Install the latest Win10 drivers (dated 10/7!) and Reboot if prompted.
(Sound continued to work.)
Hopefully this saves folks having to redo their Win10 setup if they'd otherwise prefer not to.

@MortonThule,
I NEED to let you know that your advice "literally" Saved my @$$ !!
I was clear out of ideas and felt very pessimistic..
Honestly I didn't think I'd find an answer to my problem anywhere on the web.. but I'm glad to be wrong !!
Oh!! FWIW I have the T100TAF and so my drivers where in a slightly different section of the ASUS site, but it was your theory of reinstalling the chipset driver pack, that fixed all my issues.. i.e. (no sound, no SD card recognition, no touch screen, and various other things) - all because of windows updates.. (I think).
So a SUPER BIG THANKS 🙏🏻 goes out to you, on my behalf bro...
