Well, that is very strange as I was just reading about the New T100ha model and the reviewer had this to say about the WiFi speed:

"I should also add that the Wireless chip inside the Transformer Book isn’t very fast. Asus went for a Wi-Fi N only Broadcom chip, capable of reaching maximum speed of 72 mbps. In reality you should only expect around 50 Mbps right near the router and about 25-30 Mbps at 30 feet with two walls in between."

Which exactly confirms my Speed tests.

What optimistic speed test were you using that exceeded the Specs of the T100 ?

Comcast Speed Test, Blast! speed tier.
Comcast today (7-7-2015) announced it is increasing the speed of its popular Blast! tier by almost 50 percent to 150 Mbps (formerly 105 Mbps)
90 out of 150 is hardly optimistic & the modem was dorked, wouldn't connect wired, only wireless.

Most of the reviewers don't know Jack!

Yes, as I said in my Original Post that I use Blast and I now get 125 Mbps wired.... It is on the T100 that I only get about 55-62 Mbps.
So, I am not doubting the Comcast Speed at all ! ..... It was the wireless speed of the T100, that this post was about.

No, you never mentioned that you use Blast.

With the T100TAM on the 5GHz wifi band, Comcast Blast speed test was 90Mbps(download)/12Mbps(upload). Wired connections weren't working & I was testing the modem for a friend.

BTW, you can get a wired adapter for the T100. Aukey CB-H15 SuperSpeed 3-Port USB 3.0 HUB with 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

Well I just got a T100 HA a few days ago and now I measure over 70 Mbps on my Wireless Network..... They must have improved the network speed on the HA unit. They certainly Improved a lot of other things as well.... The Battery Charging seems much better and The 4GB of memory and the 64 GB of Disk is very Nice.... The unit seems to be a lot sleeker as well. The Connection of the Micro Charging cable is much more secure.

    A great upgrade IMHO !!
