T100TAF Windows 10 continuum/auto-tablet mode

Nyrfan: Did you Update BIOS to 209 before or after installing WiN 10 and if after how did you do it? I have been using Winflash to try to install 209 on by T100taf after installing Win 10 and get error "Cannot allocate buffer to store the BIOS file". Old solutions do not work with Win 10.

I used the Asus Windows BIOS Flash Utility and I did it before upgrading to W10.

Well , updating to the ATK win10 version doesn't fix continuum in the T100TA 313BIOS -_-

Actually when you go to the Asus site and look at bios 209 for the T100TAF it specifically say for "continuum". I'm guessing they have not updated the bios for those that have a T100TA yet.

That is true , and even tho I tried to contact them via email I couldn't as I posted before...

If someone successfully has obtained any official info about it from ASUS , please post it here..

Just talked to someone from Asus, because my girlfriend tried to feed a cup of coffee to her laptop (FYI: it doesn't like that!). And I asked about continuum for the T100TA. He wasn't aware of what continuum was. I got some standard replies as to check for updates etc. but nothing that actually sounded like a solution.

The solution must be at Asus!

I believe that they will come out with an update , if more people bug them about it..
I finally found my device in their options under "notebook" , so I'll email them and post here what happens..Wish me luck!!

Unfortunately this error message seems to imply a mulfunction with the bios chip.
Currently I would suggest you to use the Easy Flash utility utility to update the bios for a try.

You can download the latest BIOS and unzip it to an USB flash and then turn on the laptop. Press F2 as soon as you see ASUS logo to enter BIOS.Then tab to Advanced ->Start easy flash.You can use the easyflash in the BIOS to upgrade it.
Here is the latest BIOS Version 209
ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download T100TAF

Please make sure that the power not cut during the operation.
And please load BIOS default as follows. Please turn on the laptop. Press F2 as soon as you see ASUS logo to enter BIOS. Then press F9 to load BIOS default. Then save and exit and then reboot the laptop.
The BIOS flash procedure is now complete.

Asus got back to me,this is their answer to my mail:

"Dear valued customer
Regarding the below described problem, we have informed the responsible department of our HQ.
Please await for a new BIOS version that fixes this problem.

the ATK Package drivers for my device (T100TA-DK005H) for the Windows 10 OS , I
find that myself and all other T100TA users that I know of , can't make the Windows 10
auto-tablet mode (continuum) work in our devices..
So I'm sending you this so that you can tell me when , and if , there will be a BIOS
update or another solution issued that fixes this annoying problem.."

Kind of a diplomatic answer by them , but at least now they are aware(?) of the problem..

We'll just have to wait until a new BIOS is issued I guess
