New Replies
Having a New Replies button would be great so that you can see updates to threads you posted in without having to go through a mess of subscribed threads/ unreads/ etc. and can prevent you from skipping over threads you are more interested in following.
In a sense, it is unread threads but with it filtered to show only New Replies to your posts. I've seen multiple forums do it and it has always proven to be the most useful to me over other systems. Keep Subscribed and Unreads as well for users that prefer those systems though.

Good recommendation. Unfortunately we don't have much control over modifications to the forum software. There is talk of implementing a different (newer) software but I dont know if it would have any features like that.
In the meantime it is always helpful to use the "active topics" section and scan it for the articles you posted in.

Assuming you have Subscribed to the threads you post in.
If you click on Settings at the top of the page you will see Subscribed Threads with New Posts: (0) {or whatever number in ( ) } and you could Bookmark that page if you want to go straight there
Is that what you meant?

I just click "New Posts" and go down the list looking for the ones I'm interested in.

At the top of this page, go to"settings" (between "my profile" and "logout")
Go to General Settings
You can automatically subscribe and get email notifications of any replies :

You can also adjust the thread display mode in the General Settings.

If you use 'New Posts' then the threads where you have posted will have a little green marker.
