Good question, I've never used the app...tho there are staff on board that do.
...and if you're on Tapatalk there is a link to the answer in my signature.
Sometimes an OPs question is answered by directing the OP to a link in the signature of a moderator . The signatures and links do not show when using Tapatalk .Can this be changed in any way by the forum setup ?
I don't use tapatalk either Wally, so no help to you there. BUT!!!!! You are the first member to use this new suggestion board. Wooohoooo

I think you should address this question to the app provider, TapaTalk?
They are providing the information through their App.
I have not looked, but can it be enabled through the setting menu? Just a thought?

Also I would like to suggest that all of the mods should keep this in mind and adjust their links to be included in the answers they provide . I know that members should read, read ,and read some more before they post . Sometimes it does not happen .
Looks like this is answered already, but as of now Forum signatures are not supported via Tapatalk. Best advice - highlight the post, tap the menu key, Open in Browser and it should take you straight to the post in question.
I have added another comment to that thread, hopefully the dev for the Android (Winter) will notice it soon.
