Hi
When I go into Wireless and Network settings, then on more.... the Mobile networks option has disappeared.
I've tried shutting down then starting again by simultaneously pressing the start and volume buttons but I still can't see it.
Can someone help me please?

It sounds as if you have tried a cold boot - but there is a link in my signature for you to check.
That would be my first suggestion. After that, if the problem persists & assuming you do have a functioning & valid SIM card installed, your only recourse will be to back up your documents, photos etc & then do a Factory Reset.
If that doesn't fix it, then only Asus can...:(
