Put quotation marks because "unlock" seems to have more than one meaning. I am talking about the twirling you need to do to the lock on the screen; I need to do it several times before it unlocks. Does anybody know why?
Picked up the Prime last night from BestBuy; traded in the TF101. Did all the prompted updates with no problems, but then this annoying unlock issue popped up. Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, did all the updates as prompted. Did not interrupt anything and it all went smoothly. It's a gorgeous tablet; no wifi issues as feared based on some other reviews. It's only this problem with the twirling of the lock.
OK, feel really dumb!! All you need to do is to click on the unopened lock and then you're in. It's just different from the 101 and got me confused. Thanks.
Ahh, yeah, I think you have to go straight to the right instead of just to the outside of the circle. This is an ICS "feature" because of the possibility of Face Unlock on some devices (which you swipe to the left). The TFP does not have Face Unlock.Quote:

Good to know I'm not alone in the feeling stupid dept. BTW, the Prime is absolutely beautiful and having this forum to rely on is an added bonus.
