Protecting transformer from getting wet
To protect the transformer of my dishwasher machine from getting wet in case of a leak, I thought of placing the transformer inside an open aluminium container.
My question is if the transformer in contact with the aluminim could create an electrical hazard.
Please advise. Thanks.

Wrong forum, this is not about electric transformers.
However, as an EE, my advice would be to not even think of it.
