    Welcome to the forum rii!
I am guessing the reason for you using the digital keyboard is due to the broken dock? Lets try to figure out what kind of device you have so we can better help you.

I would guess that you own a windows device so you have some sort of Asus Transformer Txxx device.
Usually there is a sticker on the under side of the dock with a barcode, serial number and model number. For example my sticker says T100TA. If you cannot find a sticker you can open up a command prompt terminal and type in the command: wmic csproduct get name and it will output the model name of your device.

    You're making progress!
Now you can do some searching in the t100 section to see if any others have had similar problems as you and post in those threads, or create a new thread if you feel your issue is unique. Or you could just continue posting here and we can try to help you out

I see that you made a post in the tf700 forum section. That is an Android device so the solution would not be relevant to your situation.

I encourage you to take some time to write out a detailed post describing your problems and we will do our best to find a solution.

if it's no trouble...my problem is that the docked keyboard only sorta works - some of the keys are fine but some consistenly type a numeral or something. an example of just all the qwerty keys:
    qwerty456*[asdfgh123zxcvbn0
see i just dragged my finger across the keyboard over letters only. but m is always 0, while s is always s. some non letter keys dont work right either. im not sure where the problem came from - there's a small possibility my kid did it, she's a toddler and got the tablet a few brief seconds today, but usually she just grasps at the keyboard or the touch scren, then closes the tablet, and by then i'm taking it from her. im not sure that she could have caused the problem though. the dock naturally had a bunch of problems before and just grasping at the keyboard shpuldn't do this? she's rather gentle for a oneish year old.

You have the number lock on! Press the function key and insert key/ num lock key (top right) at the same time to turn it off.

I think a reboot would also reset that as well.

It WAS my baby. Random keyboard bapping and grasping would do that. My first response was to try and restart the tablet, but it didn't fix the issue, so I came here. ^_^ Thank you very much for your help, I'm so glad it was an easy solution.
