    “What’s in a Name?” How did you choose your user name?

    Hi everyone;
    Just wondering how people come up with user names. Did you put a lot of thought into it or was it totally random. If it has any meaning, etc.
    I’ll start I wanted a user name that would describe the Transformer and my use of it.

    Sorry for your loss, a great memorial for him. His name and memory lives on.

    My partner shortened my role "G"-Man to Mr.G, then I added the year, so mrg1999, mrg2003, then I decided to just be mrg9999 everywhere. Back on xda developers, I'm still mrg2003, the year I bought my first XDA device. - Simples.

    Mine (Bugeyz) is a nick name I have been using since 1975. I bought a new Corvette in 1975. It had hidden headlights and looking at the car with the headlights in the "up" reminded me of a bug. Hence, the name of "bug eyes." My parents gave me a vanity license plate that year for Christmas and told me to put the name "bug eyes" for the plate name/number. At the time, the state where I lived only allowed 6 characters on their plates. I had to shorten "bug eyes" to "bugeyz"

    I have been using it as a nick name ever since. It remains pretty unique.

    Mine goes back to the Xband modem for the SNES in 1992. I wanted to write a "Board" (something like a blog) but didn't want to write about anything specific, just talk about all kinds of things that came to mind. So I called myself "STUFF" and have been using it since.

    Mine is pretty simple - It was my call-sign on the radio when I was in Iraq my last tour. The unit name was "The Outlaws" and as the 1SG, I was by default Outlaw-7
