I believe 4.2 is a Nexus product. If you want 4.2 you will need to root and seek out a custom ROM

    Asus TF 101 16 Gig B60 W/Dock Rooted Team EOS 4 JB 4.2
Galaxy S 3 International Quad Core Rooted Running WanamLite 5.2 JB 4.2.1
    Macbook Pro 13.3
    Asus N56U Wireless Network Router
    Airport Extreme Wireless Router
    Asus WL-330N3G Portable Wireless Router

4.2 is currently out for the Nexus line, but it should be available for the other tablets when they get around to it.

Although the feature of multi-users is appealing, many apps struggle with the new file structure. This is probably one reason that Asus has not yet release it, but they have announced they are working on it.

I think Frederuco is right. With the file structure change it will be difficult to push an OTA update to 4.2 without warning and user education about the new file structure. I have a 4.2 ROM on my GS3 and love it, but unless you really like the idea of the multi user function, 4.2 doesn't really have any significant reasons to change for the tablet use...IMO

What I like most is the new lockscreen, but for me I don't need/want those functions on my tablet.

It should still be an OTA update, and for the most part, if you do not have root access, or never open a file browser and go to the "/" directory, they will never know the difference.

The first user's files are in the /storage/emulated/0/ directory. The second user's file are in the /storage/emulated/1/ directory.

However, when you are logged in, the /storage/emullated/0/ is mounted also as the /sdcard/ directory. When you log in to the second account, the /sdcard/ magically shows the /storage/emulated/1/ directory because the directory bindings are different.

Most users will never know the difference, but apps do. Another thing to consider - Under Android 4.2, if I install Angry Birds and it takes up 20 MB, and then my wife wants to install it under her account, it takes another 20 MB of space. The apps for each user are separate, so if you have 3 or 4 accounts, you can run out of space very quickly.
