Angry JB update a disaster - lost home button, notification controls

My upgrade to JB is a disaster. My home button no longer works - this is a deal breaker. When I tap the notification area, I no longer have any toggle controls - which were accessible from any screen or app. Some apps no longer work - oh well.

So how do I roll back to ICS - at this point I could care less about a warranty if ASUS doesn't help. The tablet is barely usable without a home button and no controls in the notifications. To those who say everything is great - fine, but shut up about the inference that it's the stupid user who caused their problems. I've been at this for longer than you are alive and I can't fix it. Just looking for any ideas from people who might have some.

If you have not performed a factory reset I would recommend doing so. It will probably clear things up for you. Make sure to back up everything as it will wipe everything on the tablet except the OS.

By the way, you will catch more flys with honey than vinegar... That was a pretty snarky way to ask for help.....

I am agree with you JB has a fantastic transitions effects. I am also using Jellybean and its working fine without any problem. All the apps are working very nicely, still not found any issue in JB.

Hey Kevin, you should update your bio, it says that you don't have a tablet! Which one do you have?

I had a lot of problems with JB, i can't wait 4.3. There were problems like : low performance in gaming, freezing, or malfunction of touch screen panel.

My tablet never had ICS on it so I was just assuming that JB was what it is. Fortunately, I've not had 'poor' performance or other weirdness. It makes me wonder if the firmware and software that was written too specifically for an Android OS version. Just something to ponder...
