Since JB Update- battery draining faster?

I have noticed since the Jellybean update that my batteries have been draining faster..

Is there something I am missing or do I need to go over everything with a fine tooth comb?

Has anybody else noticed this as well?

My dock seems to last like 3 hours before it's drained and my tablet itself within 7 hours. (far below what I was doing which was way over 12hr)

I loose an hour a day of on screen time at least. As I write this I'm backing up in advance of a nuke & pave back to ICS (4.0.3) until JB is ready for prime time.

I also got almost the same problem in my TF300T Jellybean, before I sleep, I set the tablet to sleep (docked), and plug power. During the midnight, when I woke up, I noticed the led indicators both in the dock and in the tablet already became green, so I turn off the charging. Morning, took it to my lab..and guess what, when I opened the tablet, the battery power both in my dock and my tablet already become half ! So, I put the tablet to sleep again. And few hours later, I opened the tablet again, and the total battery power both in tablet and dock diminished !

I wonder what cause this..In the Settings -> ASUS Customized Setting -> Power Managemeng -> Disconnect network during sleep, I already gave a tick for that setting selection !

My 'nuke and pave' adventure yielded some positive results. I'd suggest that if you haven't already done a 'factory reset' you do it. Don't forget to back up your files first as it wipes the device clean. (this is what probably make all the difference in the update). Also I learned that there is no way back to ICS on a stock device.

I wonder if some of this is caused by JB's automatic acceleration of the CPU whenever the screen is touched. You can see this quite clearly in System Panel or some other app that monitors the clock. If you're doing a lot of input, it's like being in "performance" mode most of the time.

This make a lot of sense. With the screen off I find that rate of battery use the same as ICS but when the screen is on the battery gets used at a quicker rate than with ICS.
