[Solved] How to properly remove microSD or SD card under Jelly Bean??

Looks like Jelly Bean takes away the safely remove your card option. Does it mean I can just take it out without dismounting it?
    Sorry if this sounds silly...

The choice is still there. Unpinch the "External storage inserted" notification.

If you pinch out on the external SD notification bar you will get an "unmount" option.

And unmounting properly is highly advisable if you want to avoid corrupted or missing files...

    Ok,
I think I have tried everthing but I can't unpinch the notifcation. It only moves a bit to the left or to the right.
Am I missing something? I am not a native English speaker so perhaps I misunderstand unpiching. Could you please clarify what this move means?

    Thanks in advance

[UPDATE] Found it after much swiping and first unpinching the Play Music notification :-)
