TF300, rooted, how to update to jelly bean?

i thought when we CHECK for update it only checks for update, so i went to setting and checked for it, after checking it said there's a new update, see notification, and it's downloading, i didn't know that, i thought it will let me choose weather download and install or cancel. so i turned off wifi to stop downloading, now it's 3%. and i can't cancel downloading.

- my tablet is rooted, how do i get root back after the update?
- i disabled a lot of system apps: maps, supernote, browser, mynet, mycloud,... and a lot more that i don't use. i only disabled them, i didn't uninstalled/removed/deleted them. do i need to re-enable them before update?
- i deleted CMClient.apk and CMClient.odex in /system/app for asus device tracker problem, but i have a backup of those files. do i need to copy them back to /system/app?
- i disabled the smart dimmer / dynamic contrast. do i need to enable it now?
- i installed root apps: adfree,...

and how can i cancel the update? will i be able to update again after cancel? i want to turn wifi on, now using my computer typing this.

UPDATE: it appears that if you have SuperSU installed (and ran for at least 1 time) and backed up root using Voodoo OTA root keeper before updating, you will be able to restore root after updating. So for those who have a rooted TF300 and want to keep root after updating to Jelly Bean, here's how:

- Your device is rooted and have SuperUser installed (of course)
- Download and install and run SuperSU.
- Download and install Voodoo OTA root keeper and use it to back up root.
- Update
- Use OTA root keeper to restore root.
- Done

Rooted devices get OTA update. Devices with unlocked bootloader don't. Voodoo OTA RootKeeper us supposed to keep your device rooted, give that a read.

just updated, and just lost root
i used root keeper, it acts ok: it says restored root, device rooted but the truth is i have no root access.
a member in xda has the same problem, we're discussing the problem here TF300, rooted, how to update to jelly bean? - xda-developers
looks like if you have SuperSU (not superuser) installed and backed up root BEFORE update then you can have root access after update.
basically if i had supersu installed then now i'm not crying like this

I'm glad I found this; I've held off a few days updating the FW for JellyBean on my rooted TF300; I also have OTA rootkeeper and after the last FW update, I had to uninstall/reinstall the SuperUser stuff. Kind of a pain. I installed the SuperSU and ran it, which appeared to update some SuperUser code or something; the message went by too fast. then I re-ran OTA rootkeeper and I noticed there was an unchecked box that was not there before; something about backing up the root again (Maybe when I ran the SuperSU this came unchecked?) Anyhow, I got all boxes checked and now running the FW update. Sure is taking its time.......

UPDATE: Using the SuperSU and running that and rerunning the OTA rootkeeper BEFORE doing the FW update WORKED!!
The upgrade sure took longer than the last few upgrades, but the only thing I had to do was wait for everything to load after I logged in, then ran the OTA rootkeeper, restored root (Took about 30 sec), exited and verified through SuperUser that I did in fact have root. Went back into the OTA rootkeeper and refreshed the application and all the boxes were checked again. Titanium backup now asking for root (The SuperUser settings must have gone back to default after upgrade and root restore) and I'm just really happy that I took the time to do a little web research before starting....
