When I checked for firmware update, it was sitting there waiting for me.
I immediately noticed the speed improvement, and otherwise I'm still exploring.

For the USA this will read US
For the UK & most of the EU & many other countries it will read WW
Other variants also exist.
The USA is invariably first, followed by WW around 4-7 days later, then others.

Thanks, Medicman, sometimes it pays to get up in the middle of the night. I now have Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) on my TF300.

Same here....sit down with a cup of coffee this morning and turned on my tablet and it said the update was available. Had not heard anything in advance on the web this was coming out this week. love Asus!

I read on Android Central that it was available. I checked for the update, and it started downloading. It is now stuck at 99%. UGH!! What do I do? Wait a while, or shut it down and turn it back on? It didn't say that it was installing... the download just didn't finish. I hate when this happens... :thumbdown::banghead:

I actually left and went to get a coffee at the store, and it was ready to go when I returned. I noticed that it was slow, and I'm not patient enough to wait, so I left it be in a strong wifi spot.
This probably isn't the magic answer you were hunting.

I got the update and I keep getting a message about a process ...process.gapps, has anybody else got that or is it something on my system may not be
compatable with 4.1.1

to add the error dosnt appear to affect anything that I havefound just an annoyance so far it appears when I start some apps

i too recieved the update, i was playing dead trigger and suddenly found the update icon downloading something, when checked online for that came to know its jellly bean for my tf300, thanks ASUS your awesome!!!
