What's so special about 4.0.4? It is just a minor increase from 4.0.3. Probably just bug fixes. I don't think Google will be adding anything new.
I am new to the Android OS so maybe small updates offer huge benefits? Please let me know thanks.

Well, the bug fixes and small changes have come in the form of new builds not new versions of ICS so this would be the first new version. I would expect a little more.

they said 100 fixes 4.0.4 already released for Android phones getting ICS for the first time.
We might get 4.0.4 in the next ASUS update if they decided to.

Yes, when 4.0.4 does come our way it will be much more important than the casual update that Asus sends out to us. It is kinda exciting in a way since the 1st and only ICS version we have received was 4.0.3 so maybe 4.0.4 will take care of some of the bigger issues that are just out of Asus's hands, such as the Bluetooth headphone lag and several others.

Yep. I noticed that, when I installed a widget that let me have really large MEDIA buttons (widgets). The author used the bluetooth channel to make his buttons fairly universal, but there is a noticeable lag/delay between the push (as indicated by the click-sound I have on) and the actual behavior of the media streaming. I just thought it was a "feature"...

TF101 B70 series, USA running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3, rooted. 64gb microSDXC, keyboard dock with 32gb microSDHC in an adapter
Dell Streak 7 running Honeycomb 3.2, rooted. 64gb SDXC. Mainly used as a music player.
