Exclamation Holding down the power button - issue

I am not sure if anyone else has had this problem or not.

After the update to ICS, I had issues booting up to ICS the first few times, and now it takes like 40 seconds of holding down the power button to start it and that rarely works. I cant seem to get my tablet to turn on anymore. Is it because of the update, or is there some known issue with the power button or booting? Before the update it did take about 8 seconds of holding down the power button to start it.

I purchased my tablet on black friday from best buy, so has anyone had to deal with returning things?

I have a similar issue whereby powering down the device means that no matter how long i hold the power button down, i cant restart it unless i plug it in.

I am also having a power button problem. Have to hold the button down a lot longer than before the update to turn on.

For all three of you my suggestion is to get the TF backed up, completely then do 2 factory resets in a row. When you set your TF back up do NOT allow it to sync when it asks. Test to make certain it's working correctly before restoring any apps. When you do start restoring only do it in small batches and restart in between batches.

    Hmm

Slightly different issue here, updated to 9.4.2.21 last night and now can't turn it off to attempt a reboot, seems quite sluggish - any way to force one without touching the power button (Edit: Power button isn't doing anything not just trying to reboot without touching it for no good reason!) ?
