I found that my launcher was crashing because of a widget "Stumble Upon". Hope this helps someone else.

Just to update the thread, my daughter's TF201 lost audio (including mic input) after upgrading to ICS. Hard reset, software reset, reset to factory defaults did nothing. The TF201 had to be RMA'd for service. I expect to receive the repaired device by the end of this week.

I hope the ASUS repair facility will include details of what they repaired. I can't imagine how there could be a hardware issue caused by the upgrade to ICS.

We received the repaired TF201 today. It appears to work normally again. Sound and mic input all work.

There was no paperwork whatsoever with the device so I had no idea what they found wrong with it.

I called tech support and was told that the motherboard had to be replaced. Wow. All was well until the upgrade to ICS and then the audio completely vanished. What are the chances that a motherboard would go bad right at the point of upgrading to ICS? Seems a bit strange to me.

But no complaints. Asus CS was quick to respond to any question I had and returned the repaired device relatively promptly. I sent it to them on 3/13 and got it back on 3/30.

I heard you should keep apps up to date but I don't use Google + and never will, can I just unintall apps like that, Zinio, even Asus Webstorage, impossible to understand. I use DropBox just fine. Do I really need the junk? Would you think it's OK to uninstall what I don't need?

Oh yeah, I had app on auto update in the Play Store for my tablet & Droid 2 phone but the Asus apps were put on the Droid 2 causing it to die because the memory filled up and the phone power cycled but never turned on, had to get a new phone-lol.

Now I auto update almost everything since the AMEX app for ICS is NOT the same as the AMEX app for Gingerbread, learned that the hard way. Stopping auto update helped so I don't need 2 separate Play Store accounts.

Curious what your thoughts are on uninstalling the apps you don't use?

If they come on the TF from ASUS you cannot remove them without rooting.
Some apps can be disabled in settings, not sure what the value is but try and see.

    Shoot lost my reply-lol.

Thought I could use Astro and remove the stock junk like I did on my Droid 2. Looks like Asus is smarter than that.

Oh well, I just hide them where I don't have to look at them. Thank you!!
