I guess I should count my self lucky I've only had minor issues with ICS 4.0.3 that were easily fixed by doing a Cold Boot. Any news on when will they be coming out with a new version of ICS?

There is no :reset: button per say. Hold your vol down button and power button till you see a screen come up with white letters in the left upper corner....let it go from there....

    Hi Janner.

I am expecting my TF300 any day now.Its somewhere in the postal system. A few total newbie questions if I may please.

When I first take the tablet out of the box & after charging it.

    (1) Should I download updates before following the guide above ?

    (2) Do I have to do both No 1 & 2 as in the guide above even if I haven't put anything in the tablet ?

    Thank you.
    Anything but Apple

    Regards.
    Tony.

    Welcome to the forum!

Looks like you are a big crApple fan!

If your tablet is new, I would apply any updates and then wipe the device 3 times. No need to back up anything as outlined in steps 1 and 2.

    Thanks Frederuco.

Yes the tablet is new. Will do as you say when it actually arrives.

Apple are very good if you want to operate with one hand tied behind your back.Like buying a car & then being told you can only drive it on certain roads.

    Looking forward to the adventure.
