    Exclamation Battery Dead?

My parents bought a preowned Asus Transformer TF101 for my birthday in February. When we received it I left it on charge for 8 hours but when i yurned it on it would only turn on if i had the charger plugged in.i noticed it had a red ! Symbol on the battery icon and the charge was 0%. If i taken out the charger the tablet would imediately power off.a few days later we tried doing it again then the battery icon changed to a question mark icon.we then called amazon and returned the tablet for a replacement. When we received the tablet we charged it for 8 hours and when we turned it on it had a question mark icon over the battery icon with 0% bbattery again. We love the Asus tf101 and it would be really helpful if we didn't have to send it back and then we could get some info off someone in the forums on how to fix it. I installed dual battery widget and it shows 0%on the tablert and 99% on keyboard.
    Thanks so much

I would try trickle charge overnight from a computer (not the high voltage wall plug) the computer needs to be powered on the whole time, but usually this will being the battery back from a fully drained state.

Typically modern batteries should never be drained until they can no longer power the device. It can drastically reduce their lifetime in the long term.

The TF300 has a USB 2.0 port. I think the USB3.0 cables are backwards-compatible. You can use the stock cable that came with your tablet/charger. Unplug it from the charger and plug it into the PC. Make sure the PC stays on and the tablet turned off, it will take several hours to get enough juice
via the very slow USB charge - as per the Battery Use Guide.
