    Should or shouldn't I upgrade

I have a TF101 and have been very happy with it. It seems to do everything that I need. But, I am getting that itch and wondering if it is work upgrading to a TF700? I was also thinking of just rooting the 101 and updating the rom.

Hope people can help me with the pros and cons.

IMO, the TF101 with the 4.1 and 4.2 custom ROMs are much faster than any (esp. stock) ICS ROMs.

I have NO desire to get an infinity.

Risks of rooting, well, there are very few risks IMO because so long as you can boot to APX mode (VOL UP and POWER) you can not brick the tablet.

I have also shown a user with a TF101 and a TF700T my tablet on JB. He swears it is faster and smoother than his TF700T, and night and day compared to the TF101.

I think Frederuco has the right idea to root your device, that way if all goes well you gotta rockin tablet and if for some reason things don't go as planned.....well than your decision to purchase the TF700 has been made that much easier for you....either way good luck. samtgrizz.
