Right now my tablet uses the tablet battery first even when docked in but I want it to be the other way around.
Is there any option?

I recently purchased an asus vivo tab smart. I left it in battery save mode for some time and the screen seems to have frozen-I cannot swipe past the first lock (screen saver?) screen to access my login screen. I have tried shutting down by holding the power button in for a while and then restart but not working. Any ideas?

My TF810c was send for repair yesterday, but I was already told in the shop that one issue is my fault and it will not be fixed.
Considering how much TF810 cots in Poland I will not let go (especially that I know it is devices fault not my inattention.

So...

1. Seal on the hinge (the one between hinge and docking station is all ripped and pushed down by edge of docking station. Not nice as there is glue left inside and on the edge of keyboard.
More and more dirt get in.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1jyv0ga8ok6dpsk/DSC_9109.JPG

2. Frame of the screen just broke (above place where all materials plastic and aluminium meet). It is not chipped (as after hitting something), just split.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8lf88iv5z0096m0/DSC_9120.JPG

Any one with similar issues?

After a long and drawn out fight with Asus I've received my VivoTab RT back after it was repaired to fix the ghost touch and crash on dock removal issue to discover that the reflashed device has an empty recovery partition and I've no way to reset my device. It is currently functional however I don't like the idea that this functionality is lost.

Anyone have a remedy for this please? After my experience with Asus UK/Europe Support I'd like to avoid interacting with them on and all levels so if there is a plan B I'll happily hear it.

Hello,

Since buying my new Vivo Tab ME400c a couple of weeks ago, I've notice it doesn't seem to stream video very well. Particularly anything from youtube - whether on the site or an embedded youtube video. It seems to do better -- on average -- with other videos from non-youtube sources. This is anecdotal as I haven't done any official, controlled testing but, in a side by side w/my wife's first gen ipad, it played the same video far more smoothly than my vivo tab. And in general, it is rare I can stream any video w/o significant stoppage for the video to catch up as it were. I have a 5mb cable connection so that should be plenty fast enough to stream a 80 or 720 stream but it generally doesn't turn out that way.
I've tried a couple of different modern youtube players, modern IE and desktop IE but this doesn't seem to make a difference. The table apparently did a an ASUS update the first time I powered it up and hooked up to a network but I nothing since then. I don't know if it's a windows 8 issue, an ASUS issue (I've heard others say they have bad I/O) or something else. Would be nice to know if there's anything I can do to make the situation better. Generally enjoying Win8 on a tab overall and am looking forward to MS continuing to grow Win 8 as a touch experience.
