Although ASUS recently delivered the $150 7-inch MeMo Pad and PadFone Infinity combo device, it's been a while since a premium Android tablet graced the lineup. A recent FCC filing from the company, however, reveals an unannounced K005 model equipped with the venerable Snapdragon S4 Pro (APQ8064) SoC clocked at 1.7GHz. Further details are light, but G4Games notes that it reveals AT&T-compatible GSM, CDMA and LTE connectivity and the model number suggests a 10-inch frame. Check out the FCC filing for yourself below and rest assured that we'll fill you in when we hear more.

I have had my TF101 for about a year now and have recently encountered a problem. On start-up at the home desktop I get the message appear "Unfortunately DMClient has stopped". I tap okay on this and it appears a second time till I tap the okay prompt. I am not able to detect what this is supposed to mean or its effect on the operation of the tablet. When I go into the setup to reinstall the operating system I, once again, get the message "Unfortunately DMClient has stopped.". Andy ideas anyone what this is and how to get rid of it?

How can i extend my windows desktop by using my tablet (TF-101) so i can have it acting as a secondar Monitor and display applications there? I need something like Splashtop or Temaviewer, but i dont want to mirror what my Dekstop sees, i want to see different things on my Tablet. I have heard of apps like AirDisplay, X-Display etc, but they require lots of driver installations and librariew, and i try to keep my insalltions to a minimum so i can keep running a clean Windows System...
Any ideaw/suggestions?

Microsoft is really investing heavily in software and manufacturing in a effort to gain a bigger share of the smartphone and tablet markets. It seems they are finally realizing the gadget world is here and people tend to use them more than they use their PCs. Although I have not used the new Windows 8, I think that for most of my gadgets android is fine with constant improvements with updates. Google was smart in offering it to developers and manufacturers at no charge.

I'll be honest.

I'm having remorse and almost...I repeat, almost...wishing I had gone to the 'dark side' and purchased a, a...that other tablet...instead of my prime TF201.

Sure, I was impressed by what yall said about it. I read all the prime vs. ipad threads and decided it was right for me.

But today...one year later, I'm wishing I had chosen the other one. Can anyone offer advice?

It came to a head today in the coffee shop. Once again, once AGAIN, my prime wouldn't, couldn't connect to the wifi. People all over the shop were happily sipping their zombie coffee (this was in the town where the Walking dead is filmed) and staring at glowing screens, but not me.

My sad little Transformer Prime couldn't connect and it hit me. It never does if I'm more than a few feet from the wireless router. I can't even use it upstairs in my house.

I don't like my little Transformer Prime. It hasn't brought me happiness. And today, it told me that Asus wants to send me $17 as part of a lawsuit involving it's wifi issues.

$17.

How will this help?

Can anyone suggest what I can do to figure out how to fix this? Many of yall are talking about fixes and this and that and tin foil. I need someone to hold my hand and help get me back to a happy place with my prime. At this point, I want to sell it and just go on over to the dark side and buy ....that other product.

Any help? Please?

Hi everyone, I am hoping someone will chime in here and help me understand exactly, what kind of sd card I need? I've found micro sdhc cards, tf cards, sd cards, etc. I've read the manual for my transformer model and all it says is "micro sd card slot" insert micro sd card here. What in the world do I need, bare essentials wise? thanks for listening :)

p.s. I need the appropriate card for the Transformer TF101

I find it easy to use the touchpad on the keyboard, in general, to do things I'd normally do with my finger on the touch screen. Yet scrolling through launcher pages isn't on of them. The only way, I've discovered so far, is to double tap the touchpad, without lifting my finger after the second tap, and dragging to the right or left, and then releasing my finger. This is an emulation of dragging with a mouse.

Is there an easier way? I hate moving my hand from the dock to the screen more than necessary.

BTW, I'm using Nova launcher on a Pad Infinity...

Someone left their Asus Transformer on a train I was just on. I tried to hand it in at the station, but the office was shut. That means I've got at least until tomorrow to try and return it to its rightful owner (you can bet the train company will either nick it, or else just leave it on a shelf, rather than try to locate the owner).

It's screen locked, and apart from the screen image (which looks like it's a stock one) there's nothing immediately identifiable about it. I obviously don't know the unlock pattern, and if I press "forgotten pattern" it asks me for the owner's google account details.

My question is: Is there any way I can find the owner? Ideally I guess I'd get their Google account and contact them via that. Anyone got any ideas how to do it? If I'm unsuccessful, it'll go to the train company's "lost and found" tomorrow.

Hello all. I've had my TF700 since last Thanksgiving and despite a bumpy start (slow, crashing all the time) I'm now satisfied with my toy after the last upgrade. I've been lurking here for a long time and the posts have been most helpful and gotten me through quite a few hiccups.

My question. I have the SVTP Hot Spot app on my mobile phone. It worked beautifully and is really simple. No passwords needed. I'd turn it on and then connect the tablet and start browsing.
Now I activate the app, connect the tablet but there is no internet service when I open the browser.
I go to settings, check Wi-Fi and it shows that I'm connected but nothing happens except webpage not available.

I'm not very literate with all the advanced information which flies around here so if anyone has any ideas please tell it to me like I'm a 5 year old (5 year olds may know more than me actually).

Thanks

My first question is, with a tablet and not a phone, is there any need for a lock screen?

Daft question I must admit seeing as I can't see the security reasons for something where a simple finger swipe gets you in, unless there is something more important like stopping apps and software doing bad things?

But my main question is how do I add apps to the Lock Screen?

I can add widgets but I'm on about stuff like adding the camera icon so that I can fire that up ASAP. While playing with other android tablets there are several little apps on the lock screen yet I am simply presented with a padlock symbol.

Cheers
