all bags to a certain degree are water resistant but it only takes drop to f up your any electronic device. you can spray scotchgard every few days or when you think it'll be moist out and/or carry a small plastic bag like i do. i just use a targus messenger bag cause i have way to much stuff to carry around. use to carry 2 bags when i had to carry my laptop around. boy that was a pain.

When it comes to travelling, I prefer a back bag for my laptop. Otherwise, I would rather use hand bag as I find it more comfy.
