I can highly recommend these apps from the Windows Store, neither have try before you buy options which is a pain but both are brilliant;

Star Chart can be a bit peculiar with the compass being 180 degrees out of alignment but that's more an issue with the location sensor as it happens in a number of apps. GBWG is just addictive, turn based fun!

Great Big War game is, as you say, addictive and great fun. On my Vivo I can't seem to "friend" iOS users although I can play against them. Also, does anyone know how to delete unplayed/unfinished games?

Ironically those are my two favorite paid apps I have on my Galaxy S3. Just registered here, my Asus arrives via UPS tomorrow and this is first thread I pulled up lol! They are both VERY worth the purchase price!
