TF810C - Turn off touch screen

Hello, I came here seeking helping for one of our termite inspectors. We got him a TF810C to record reports on and they do a lot of writing on to the screen using PDF Annotator.

Up till now we've been using Lenovo Xseries tablets, but we thought we'd try the vivo tab because of the slimmer, lighter body, longer battery life, and more touch friendly OS. He is having issues with palm rejection while writing on the screen. On the Lenovo tablets, we can turn off the touch capability on the screen if it gets in the way of writing reports. Is there any way to do that with the TF810C?

    Thanks!

PS - I tried to search the forums for anything on this, but I came up empty... sorry if this has been discussed.

Under W8 there should be the following option... Try using Search to find the "Pen and Touch" settings, under touch tab you should see check box for "Use your finger as an input device"... clearing it should disable the touch screen...

Alternative... One Solution to Enable/Disable Touch with VivoTab

You can also go to device manager and disable it there...
