USB charging cable

My charging cable just got mangled. Is it the same cable as the other TF series tablet? I see those out there but no Vivo cables yet.

I expect that the cables will be identical, but to be 100% certain, why not just ask Asus

Being the weekend, I didn't think they would respond. I wanted to get one ordered sooner than later.

I see. But I doubt anyone here will be able to give you a definitive response - most folks don't own two devices & with the Vivo being so new, not many folks have them at all.

I can hope! The other option might be to use the USB adapter. If I had a USB cable with full size connectors at each end I would try it. I could pick one up at the shops tomorrow I guess

I don't think that will work for you. I certainly have never heard of anyone doing it successfully. I think you either have to wait for Asus or order another cable & trust that it will work.

The plug isn't the same as any other Asus Transformer tablet. Very frustrating, but you can go to the ASUS eStore and buy a replacement cable. Costs $20.
