    Vivo Tab RT600 Factory Reset

    Hello Forum

Is there a way to do a factory reset on the Vivo Tab RT TF600?

The regular win 8 procedure in the General Settings does not work; there is a prompt claiming that the required data could not been found and that a Windows Installation DVD should be inserted. However, there is no such DVD, and (not surprisingly) a bootable win8 usb stick does not work, too. I realize the difference of win 8 and win RT, but how can I "factory reset" my tab or reinstall win rt from scratch? Google, Bing, etc. did not yield a solution, and I would be exremely thankful for any help

(I realized that the RT600 is not for me; I ned the full Win8 experience and thus would like to sell the RT600 in order to be able to buy a regular win8 ultrabook)

Thank you so much and sorry for my English

See if following this works as planned

Press F8 during the initial BIOS post to bring up the Advanced Boot Options screen.
On the Advanced boot options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair your computer, and then press Enter.
Select a keyboard layout, and then click Next.
Type the user name and password of an administrator, and then click OK.
Under System Recovery Options, select Reinstall Windows. This option will restore Surface to the factory image, and any customized user information will be lost.

When the restoration of the factory image is complete, the device will restart, and the setup process will begin. This process is identical to the first time you set up Vivo you will be guided by a series of prompts and dialog boxes.

If you got to the last part you're done.
