Vivo Tab Versions?
Anyone know the difference between TF810c-C1-gr and TF810-C2-gr? I notice the C2 showing up for pre-order in a couple of places. Same price and no obvious differences in the specs. Maybe Asus has already made a fix to the first models?

For Asus, everything after the initial model number stands for things like style and color options.
So TF870 is the model, the "C" immediately after stands for the processor, which in this case is Cedar Trail, and the rest for for the Style and Color options. They sometimes also refer to minor differences like whether a product has Bluetooth or not but usually only minor differences.
I see some that are more obvious, like "Dock" that probably mean they Keyboard dock is bundled and is priced higher of course.
Naming system can very per region though, so it's hard to say exactly what they mean all the time.

Further investigation reveals that TF810C-C1-GR is the tablet only. If you wanted a keyboard/dock you would also need TF810C-DOCK-GR. But Asus apparently also ships TF810C-C2-GR which is tablet and keyboard dock as one package.

Good luck finding the C2 varient though. I bought the tablet from Micro Center and had to buy the keyboard from Amazon. What bothers me a little is as to why the RT version comes with a keyboard gift certificate and the x86 version does not. Especially when the Nvidia ARM chip costs more to manfacture then the Intel Atom. I did get a cute case and one extra year of warranty with the tablet so all isn't lost, yes I cut coupons to, two for one pizza bagels and Hot Pockets are hard to pass up.

The dock version is avail. on amazon.co.uk for £730 shipped.

The C in the "C1" designates that the tablet has a 64GB memory capacity. All of our tablets will either be an A#, B#, or C#. It will almost, always will be A1, B1, or C1. The only time the 1 turns into a 2 is when the dock is bundled with the tablet. So far, only the TF300, TF700, and now TF810 have a A2, B2, or C2 counterpart. The tablet bundled is the same kind. Although it might be a newer manufactured run, it is the same model essentially. Not an updated version or anything.
