Every test I have seen of the video sucks. Jerky as heck. Basically it's like video recording was an afterthought on the TF. Maybe one day they will fix it.

We need to remember this is a tablet with a tiny lens and no auto-stabilizing. No obvious way to mount it on a tripod. A tiny microphone. Etc..

That said, when I switched the OP's video to 720p and full screen I thought the result was very impressive. I'd bet that on a custom tripod rig with a professional microphone one could do a pretty amazing video with the tablet. Jerkyness is user error, and goes away with smooth pans a liquid head on a video tripod permits.

I'm talking about frame drop jerkyness not how jerky it is handheld. I've seen it pointing at moving objects held perfectly still on a rest and it still looks jerky. Note: This is not a flash playback issue or anything like that. I've actually downloaded the video to hard disk and played in MPC with similar results. Also video playback of high profile H264 seems broken and may never be fixed due to Tegra 2 limitations. Anyhow I don't get my TF until Wednesday (Knew I should have paid for next day) so will be thoroughly testing it's video capabilities and reporting back.

Funny, I thought the video at the top there was pretty good. When not pointed at the sun it had nice color and saturation. I noticed it kept adjusting color saturation when it got near bright objects like the sidewalk. I'm not a film guy so what do I know. I did notice the audio of the car was jerky though. Still this isn't a video camera, and we've no idea the speed class of the internal memory chip, right? To do good video the chip should be a class 10 (so I've heard). And that assumes the OS isn't being a bottleneck either.

I'm getting my transformer in a few days. Will I be able to record directly onto a Micro SD card? If so, will a 4 class card be to slow for this?
