TF300 Screen Mirroring(Wireless display)

Hi friends,

I searched many times in google , but couldn't find any knowledge.

How i can connect my TF300t to my LG Tv by wirelessly?
I want display TF300t screen on my TV without hdmi cable.

My tv: LG LA660
It has miracast, Wi-Di, DLNA

The 700 has MyNet which is ASUS's DNLA app. Does the tf300 have this? Look in your app drawer

I have now been in contact with Asus, and informing them about all the bugs that the users of this forum have found in the Jelly Bean 4.2.1 update. Also i have now got a clear answer on why Miracast is not included (at least for the TF300)

to answer the question, the TF300 is not a miracast approved device from our side, so it will not work at all, sadly.
I have also made sure i forwarded the info you sent should they want to dwelve into the bug reports you have made in the forum.

I am sorry i could not be of any more help in this, but as long as it is not classified from our side as this, it will not be able to enable this function.

Miracast uses the Wi-Fi radio frequencies to setup the connection (2.4Ghz) and for the actual transfer of content (5 Ghz)... The lack of 5GHz is the problem...

As are a LOT of people. Google made it seem like Miracast was a standard feature in 4.2, but you also need the 5 GHz radio and very few devices have this capability.

For some wireless streaming (videos, photos & suchlike) you could also look at iMediaShare (from the Play Store)

I read in a tear down report that the prime is capable of 2.4 and 5 it just doesnt use 5. Maybe a dev could take care of this for us. Also the tf700 is a tegra3 device that is capable of miracast. Cmon devs let us know.
