    Revealing full screen

IS there a way to custoize the transformer prime, while keeping ICS, to make the status bar (soft key area) dim, or better yet, disappear while watching movies? This is really the one and only issue I have, having a 10.1 beautiful screen, yet not being able to see all of it. My galazy nexus soft key area, also running ICS, goes away while watching movies, then when I touch near that area, it comes back.

    Thanks!

You can achieve this by using MX Video Player. Free from Google Play, don't forget the codecs required.

I was told that will just stretch it which will either make the people fatter or skinnier, no?

It doesn't stretch. It blanks out the statusbar in the same way the Youtube app does it.
It is still there, but you only see some faded dots where the softbuttons are located.

And I second Janner, MX is the best free videoplayer

Sweet! So I don't have to root in order to do this, just download the app? Thanks for the tips, I was told the exact opposite in another thread. Hopefully this works!

Last thing, what are, and where do I get the codecs?

No, to be fair, cos I just stumbled over your other thread - that's what happens if you double post the same basic issue - you are being told the same thing. Some apps dim the bar. You want to maintain your aspect ratio & Frederuco gave you a list of apps that will dim the bar. He also recommended MX.

Just try it - if it isn't what you are looking for, try some others

Understood, I am just unclear if I have to be rooted or not, that's all. I am very new to this, sorry for all of the questions. I figurred I posted in the wrong forum, so I posted again, my bad.

"Some apps, such as MX Player, have options to stretch to the full screen (vertically and horizontally) but then the move you are watching the people look either skinnier or fatter than they should."

I just want the bar to pretty much be invisible, which I think you understand, if I can see the little dots that is fin, just do not want to affect the quality i.e skinnier, fatter.

Not a problem. No need to apologise, my friend. You ask away Just try to ask once, that's all

Nope, you don't need to root. Not for anything much, actually. I'm moving this thread too, as I have just noticed it is in the wrong section.

    Moved to Asus Video.
