Anyone ripping Blue Ray DVDs with DVD Catalyst?

    Hi:

There's a guide for burning Blue Ray DVDs on the DVD Catalyst web site:
    DVD Catalyst 4.1 Bluray Guide | Tools4Movies | DVD Catalyst 4

I currently don't have any Blue Ray dvds and am looking to get some help/opinions from those of you who are already converting Blue Ray dvds.

I know you have to purchase some additional software and that there might be glitches. It's been my experience that most regular dvds end up being around 1.5gb per movie. What's the average Blue Ray conversion size? How difficult has it been to convert Blue Ray disks?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    I convert Blurays myself.

You can make the movies as small as you want, but it is a trade-off on quality. If you want a bluray movie to look amazing on the transformer-screen, you are looking at about 2-3GB for a movie or so.
If you use CRF ( What is CRF? | Tools4Movies | DVD Catalyst 4 ) the file-size can be a bit less though.
