    newbie playing avi files question

I've transfered my avi files to my TF and placed them in the filesystem. I can't seem to find them with Gallery or VLC. Is there a place I should transfer them to and what software should I use to play them.

    Many thanks for your help.

Using File Manager should let you navigate to wherever you put it. So far i have only gotten Rockplayer to play avi xvid.

RockPlayer and MoboPlayer should be able to play your AVI files. The build-in Gallery tends to prefer MP4 video files.
