Transformer Camera and Skype for Android

Have managed to make Skype Calls with Voice.

Can the Transfomer Front Facing Camera be used with Skype for Android ?. I haven't yet managed to find a way of making Video Calls with the Skype App.

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, the front facing camera can be used. I noticed that when initiating a video call that my camera is turned off after the call connects. Tapping the screen once brings up the menu and then tap the video camera on the lower right hand corner of the screen and select Front and it will start using the camera to make a video call.

I've been able to successfully connect in a video call, but if I initiate the call, I can only see me (full screen) but they can see and hear me just fine. However, if they initiate the call, then I can see and hear them and they can see me but they can't hear me. I guess we're waiting for the next Skype upgrade?

Interesting....I was able to initiate and accept Skype video calls with an ipad2 user. Video and audio worked but the video quality wasn't the sharpest. I wonder if the Prime's improved camera makes a difference in the video quality???

Doesnt work. Tried all the tricks and settings. Uninstalling. Clearing cache and force stop.

Video skype does not work on transformer prime.

I actually have a TF101 and not Prime - but sinc emy post have got Skype and Video working. It started working fine immediately after the last firmware upgrade in late December.
